Who we are
Acclaire is an independent platform for running recognition contests. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@acclaire.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, used to sign you in with a magic link.
- Nominations you submit, including the nominee name and Instagram handle.
- Your votes, recorded per category.
- For finalists: a display name, an Instagram handle, an optional short bio, and a photo if one is provided with consent.
- Basic technical information needed to operate the service securely.
How we use it
We use this data to run contests: to verify your email, to accept nominations, to record votes fairly, to show finalists who have given consent, and to publish results. We do not sell personal data.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in the European Union region of our infrastructure provider. Access is restricted and protected by row level security.
Finalist consent
Finalists are shown publicly only after giving consent. If you are featured and would prefer not to be, contact us at hello@acclaire.com and we will remove you right away.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal data, correction of it, or its deletion. To make a request, contact us at hello@acclaire.com.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
